Himley 2014

Post by Lord Croker »

Anyone getting out the wellies, umbrella & thermals for Himley on Sunday? my Mini is in the 1981 slot of the Mini 55 timeline, so please come & say hi, if you wish. You can't miss the car, it's very yellow!

We are going and will also be in the 55 years line up for 1986 with Jan's red City E

If it carries on like this it might be the one with a raft on its roof??

Forecast is very poor, I may jib down with a pal but I suspect a lot of cars will be left in the garage on Sunday?

My apologies Mini7org, due to a sudden influx of work & time taken preparing for the show, I neglected to check the forum beforehand, otherwise I would have introduced myself to you.

china, it was good to meet you & see your superb pick-up, as I said, a credit to you.

Pete, not quite as bad weather as forecast, but remaining upright in the wind could be a challenge at times.

Rich, you are right about that pick-up, a beautiful job.

That ok, was a bit hectic as most events are these days, constantly bumping into friends, it was a bit of a challenge with that wind, at least the Mini couldn't end up in the lake with it blowing that way.
China your pick-up was outstanding as quiet a few Minis not in concourse appeared to be. Not a bad show overall considering the weather forecast and the Mini Festival being on as well.
