Excuse my ignorance but what headliner is that? My k has a liner there the hoops are fitted to the body of the car, I've not seen a one pieceliner like that, and I am a little jelouse.

It's a normal MK1 headliner as used on minis built this side of the globe. :)

Did a little job on the interior since last time...

Went quite allright when you find out the correct way to put it in without making any marks on it.....

Looking great!

This is my favorite part of a restoration to watch - it all comes together and starts looking like a car again. That's got to be quite satisfying, can't wait to get to that point on my own Mini!

between last night and this morning i have read every post on this amazing project! how inspiring! (surely i should be getting on with some work)

i am having my car restored professionally which in some way is a shame although i simply do not have the time or space to carry out the works myself, especially as I would need to learn a lot of new skills too......... (i am extensively involved in the decision process and have a very good relationship with the chap coordinating the restoration, at least)

i look forward to seeing your finished car!

A little update on my project, since last time....

I had the original cornerbars rechromed, and fitted to the new bumpers.. Thats where you make some measurement many times, and drill one..

It went really well. The bumpers are done in front, and fitted without any problems...

Stunning work Rene.
The car is really coming together nicely. I bet you're looking forward to the day when it's finally on the road.
