So the 3 italian job cars are THE cars from the movie then and have engines built to the right spec by speedwell

And heres me thinking they were just minis with number plates transfered over , good slot though despite a few inaccuracies here and there

Brian did well though in the race

Great little show, he was such a great enthusiast for fronting it and not a bad driver.
I think the Italian Job number plate story might have got a bit confusing and taken about 3/4 of the programme to explain properly.
Perhaps the producers thought it might have been better to have a good story.

A few minor things aside, it was the most entertaining Mini feature I've ever seen. Brian is hilarious and I can't wait to see the rest of the series!

Spot the hatchback Radford with Beetle rear lamps at the beginning, looks like Britt Eckland in the passenger seat driven by Sellers at the famous photo shoot.

Great prog tho very entertaining.. esp the Italian job trio very very smart built out of boxes of bits left over among the 20 or so cars used in the making of the film..great looking cars if not the original ?!.....foxy52 .
