Tread plates

Hi, been given a pair of original treadplates for my mk1, the holes are just too high up though on the door step...i dont think if i drilled some more holes a bit lower in them that they would look that nice with holes everywhere......mini spares repro ones come pre drilled......does anyone know of anyone making these so i can ask for a pair with no holes? or where i could get some of the polkadot ally from? Whilst im typing this i'm thinking maybe i should call mini machine tommorrow......anyway if you can help much appreciated.
