Hi. Got two Weber dcoe 45s. One nr 13, Italian and one nr 152, Spanish. Which one to use?? Read about bad progression hole placement on the 152?? Anyone got any info? Also heard that nr 15/16 are the best to use on a A engine, is this so? The engine the Weber is going on is a 1380, ported head, free flowing exhaust, race cam. Appreciate help and info
To be honest any that isn't a 152, would be good. Apparently the later 152G, made in germany solved the problem with a extra progression hole. The correct 45 for the Siamese port A series is the '45dcoe 9', which you can buy new again as they've started reproducing them.
I've had a set of split 45 s and they were made from 152 . I think they run better low down and could them to tick over reasonably well with a 649 cam . 1480 cc . ... Ken

Interesting are they the later german versions with the extra progression holes ? If not where have you set the air bypass screws ?
