for my 60 mini then guys? just bought an 065 off car europarts, as was told it was the heavy duty version of the 063, but have since read that it may be too tall?? have heard the 075 will fit though? rather have a heavier duty one if i can. niall.

If you dont look for a original one ? then I can only recommend Varta.

They are excellent, and last decades (even if you abuse them)

the 075 fits fine and is used in a lot of modern diesels so it should be able to cope with an 850

I use battery type 075 in both my cars, a "standard"
1993 Mini and a Mini Marcos...

Dimensions 242x175x175mm
Rating: 60AH
CCA: 550A approx

The ratings vary from manufacturer to manufacturer,
but are a general guide. The fit is "snug" width-wise in
the Mini, but there is still spare length available.

Type 065 dimensions are the same, but a lower rating.

OK cheers fellas, have swapped the 065 out for an 075, which turned out to be the same size at c.24cm long and height but will still fit hopefully. n.
