Lucas Electronic distributor

Post by tedmcedd »

I have the following distributor:

I know that it needs to wire to the +ve and the -ve side of the coil. I'm guessing it used to have a plastic plug to connect it up, the terminals on the side are in a T shape, like on a washer motor, so that you can't get the plug on wrong...

My question:

Does anyone know which terminal should go to which side of the coil!!?

Many thanks!

pure White is power (12 volt) so that goes on the plus terminal.

White with Black stripe goes on minus side of the coil.
