Hydrolastic chassis number query

Post by MMM1965 »

Hello

My hydrolastic mini minor was built in sept 1964 and I understand that hydrolastic was introduced in this month. Does anyone have any idea from which chassis number it was introduced?

Many thanks

My source states MA2S4 296257.

Hope this helps.

Thanks ever so much for the info, the chassis number of my car is only a few numbers after this, so that must make it one of the very first hydrolastic minis made. Very interesting.

The introduction of hydro was a little "fuzzy" so there are no guarantees.

Sometimes a Heritage certificate will state 'dry' or 'hydro' if it was specifically ordered as such.
