boot lock
I was opening the boot this morning and the handle came off in my hand and can't see how it's held in place. has a circlip fallen off or something?

Re: boot lock
Most likely. From memory there's a circlip on the end of the square shaft. My Traveler has the same problem.

Yep
there is a circlip at the other end which either usually rots away or the actual alloy of the handle / shaft / whatever rots instead and the circlip falls off leaving you with handle in hand
