Cooper s set 623 crankshaft?
Hi there , I've got my crank back after a regrind. I've noticed on the big four end journals there is three oil holes , the one in line with the web is bunged. I'm thinking this is where the factory drilled the oil gallery in the webs then capped them off and is correct as it should be. Before I reassemble the engine I thought I better get a few thoughts from those who know cheers David.

That is correct, the drillings were drilled & bunged in the cross drilled S cranks.

On old cranks it is quite common for these holes to block solid which means no oil feed to big end
We always take them out now to fully clean out holes and turn up new plugs .
