Brave man indeed posting that picture!! I've a few of those howlers in my closet but there staying there!!

ive known of at least two people who have fitted the engine to the gear box, refitted the whole thing back to the car and got it running, only to discover the idler gear still sat on the bench.............

I know that was just a dry build Stu, making sure that everything fitted together correctly.

Never done it myself......but have heard of people who have left out the gearbox casing to engine block 'O' Ring......

defo. never mind. wont forget that next time. least it didnt have the cover on and in the engine. if everything had gone well and nothing went wrong i would of probably worried .........

no. it bends around 180 degrees but that bit isnt on the picture
