What colour?

Hi, folks. Apologies if this has been asked before but can anyone help me with which colour green was used in the works circuit cars? I mean the VERY dark BRG that's nearly black. I don't want to get too navel gazing about the exact shade but if I can find something close, for a weekend hack car, I'd be happy. Thanks for any thoughts. Martin M.

John Baxter's 1967 book on racing team colours has the Cooper Car Co green as ICI ref P030-152 though some have used Connaught Green GN18 in the past on their cars, which is ICI P030-2865. I'm not sure Coopers used that colour, that was actually the colour Vita D painted some of their early cars.
