Was it on car that did some sort of speed record or something in the early 60s.
I should know this one I remember you telling be when you found it.

It is of a type fitted to John Sprinzel's 1958 Coupe Des Alpes Sprite.

Originally designed by John in the late 1950's & used in very small quantities until the "normal" Speedwell badge came in.

Yup, That's a genuine one. I have a couple in my collection. They are smaller than you would expect, but very nice.
