Differences in 1275 flywheels?

Post by AustinSuperSeven »

Hiya everyone.
Is there a difference between a standard 1275 flywheel and a Cooper S 1275 flywheel?
The reason I ask is that I'm going through my stock and found a flywheel that is a lot thinner than a standard one and a lot lighter!
Many thanks in advance.

There is no difference between a normal flywheel & a Cooper S flywheel. I suspect you have found a lightened one.

the flywheel for a 1300 is thicker and heavier than a std mini one, so you haven't got one of those have you?
should you wish, you can contact me on rich@minispares.com

Thanks for your help guys.
It looks like an early lightened flywheel, nicely done!
I'm going to go for a lightened steel one just for peace of mind.
Done want any drama's at Blyton park :D

George
