Re: Beaulieu
The MCR day although aimed at Cooper and 'S' derivatives is not just for those models. Any Mini is made very welcome and there are loads of interesting cars which are not Cooper based. UPR will attract shed loads of attention and you never know we might be able to resurrect a Mk1 Performance stand for 2014?????? Id be willing to help out on that one.
Advance tickets are on sale through the MCR website and although i say that Hollands Wood will never see me again, i will be camping again this year on the Saturday evening and trying a few pints in Brockenhurst to help me sleep!

Re: Beaulieu
Not sure they'll be a specific display of non-cooper Mk1's but the whole showground is a display anyway plus you've got the option of putting your car on one of the club stands. Niall.
Re: Beaulieu
You could enter the concours. There is a class for pre 1980 non Coopers. The class also caters for modified stuff as well.minidean wrote:So what do I need to do if I want to show UPR?
Here's a link to the form

Here's a better shot of UPR in 2011 getting very wet. I also took it down in 2009 so it knows it's way there.

Re: Beaulieu
Don't worry. Many, including myself, will be in our "non-Cooper" Minis. Everything is welcome and there is a fantastic variety there which, I think, just adds to it. Even if you don't get your car on a display, it will be parked very close-by and much admired. Beaulieu is a great Mini day out . It must be an expensive venue and the Mini Cooper Register must sensibly have realised long ago they would be foolish to accept only "Coopers". That would make for a very small exclusive (and loss making) event.
I for one, will look forward to seeing your car again

Re: Beaulieu
As said above, ALL minis are welcome.
In fact some unusual non Cooper variants will be present.
