It's one of those ultra rare Crayford travellers with a Downton 1071!! There's only one known to survive and this must be it!! 60k surely!!

I agree it's got amazing history but I suspect hasn't sold because visually for £38K it might not have the 'wow factor' associated with the price tag ? I don't care either way but I also suspect the Mk2 reshell is bound to have an effect.

I was at the auction a couple of months ago and saw it sold for £19k. To be honest I didn't think it was really worth that much. Good history I agree but you wouldn't want the car if it was not Alex Moultons. Anyway just shows what I know. Up for sale at Cotswold Classic Cars for £38k. He is obviously trying his luck on ebay presumably with a very hefty reserve. This optimistic dealer guy never fails to amaze me.

I know repro ones usually don't fit but at this price for NOS I think I'd try a bit harder to make them fit :o
