Does anyone on the forum have experience of making the standard 1275 steel pushrods any shorter by either grinding or machining down the lower end?
I am looking to make up a set about 2mm shorter than standard.
All advice gratefully received.

I've never needed to do it, however Des Hamil does describe how he's done it in his Books.
