Re: Carcoon
a up pad, which size did you get ?am just in process of weighing up what to get, I have found a home for the rally car until next year as the 850 is going in with the 1293, but will definitely be happier with it in one, keep us posted on how it looks and goes with assembly etc mate

Re: Carcoon
Ordered the carcoon yesterday for UPR. Apparently you need a size 2 for a classic mini. £306

Re: Carcoon
ooooohhhh, i like that, and just the rights size for a mini.
think i will look into one, once the car is finished,
what kind of power is the pump, hope its not one thats going to cost the earth to run
EDIT: done a bit more searching, it run off 240v to a 12v pump/blower, also connects to your battery and charges it, but if the mains power is lost, it will power off the car battery. , cleaver.

Re: Carcoon
I collected some Mini bits from this guy who had his Harley in a Carcoon. He was certainly singing it's praises.
The highly chromed Hog needed less cleaning and polishing because of it's new home.

Re: Carcoon
Its quite a simple but effective bit of kit. Just put the mat down, drive the car on, connect the battery charger to the battery. put the top piece over the car and zip it to the bottom piece then plug it in and stand back. One great feature is the drying mode, you put the car in there with a warm engine and the fans dry the car. When the car is dry zip the vent into storage mode. and all for just over £300.Dean wrote:ooooohhhh, i like that, and just the rights size for a mini.

EDIT: i am maybe being dumb, is it just inflated and thats is ( like a blow up bed) , or is it got a constant pump on it to keep it up, but i see its only a 12v pump so low power
