Top TV indeed, looking forward to the next two episodes.
Had to chuckle at the "Mini driving style" flat out everywhere with no need to brake

Some of the Mini racing clips and commentary were taken from the excellent '1960's Mini Racing DVD' if you want to see more:-

"As the title suggests, 1960s Mini Racing is one for those of you who love the period footage of Minis on the limit and, occasionally, beyond it! Made up from footage put together by Roscoe Films, we can watch Minis in the thick of the action at Brands Hatch, Cadwell Park, Castle Combe and Mallory. Often thrown into the Saloon car races, it’s a battle of little and large, with huge Ford Galaxies taking up much of the track space.
Big name drivers include Graham Hill, Jim Clark, Dan Gurney and Bruce McLaren. Filmed in colour and with classic 1960s commentating, 1960s Mini Racing is a real step back in time. The only slight irritation is the lack of information - we would have liked to know more about which track we were on (we identified all of them eventually), what the race meetings were and in which years.
But 1960s Mini Racing is a lot of fun and priced to reflect the comparatively short running time. USA customers please note that this is a PAL dvd. (32 Minutes)
DVD Highlights:
1960s commentary!
Some great names in action
Loads of footage you’re unlikely to have seen before"
The full Gordon Spice Mini race footage at Crystal Palace in 1969 is on this DVD and very exciting to watch:-
