Not a huge price to pay for an original January 1964 1071 (albeit without engine). So come on, who bought it ?

...very interesting, !! I have one similar almost identical in design that my father acquired in the 60,s from a Michelin rep while on a call as he was Marketing supt for Shell Fuel and Oils......wonder what that's worth thesedays ...anyone know ??? tks foxy52

If you have a load of the BMC branded ones you are in the money, if they are just old fashioned tyre pressure gauges then sadly you are not.

Its the little BMC rosette that makes all the difference.

That is interesting, I bought one about a year ago from Wisconsin for $29 plus shipping. I had a new Austin horn push.
