Thanks for the link Mike, you're right, it's full of interesting pics...

I have some questions about this pic.

Who had the idea to put the pony in a maxi ??!

And how the hell did they closed the hatchback to transport the pony ? :D

The official photographer seems to have fantasies about transporting women in the boot :

And finally I've never thought I could find a P6B so sexy :

Only had a quick look but great stuff Mike. Being Heritage I'm sure we've seen most of the Mini pics in one form or another before but there's a few jems in there that I've not seen before, and some of the publicity shots I'd only seen in black and white. There's a photo of what looks like the lightweight GRX 311D testing at Thruxton and a shot of a model sitting on the grass beside AJB, bit odd that one.

That archive is getting better & better. New stuff added fairly regularly.

Good point re the "Strange" theme of some of them though Alex!

I think that Rover was raced here in NZ in the early 70's - came over from Aussie. Maybe it is still in aussie?

Alec Poole also drove the Rover at Kirkistown in Co Down, Northern Ireland during the 70s. Was red and white as in the photo at the time. My dad remembers it racing at nearly every race meeting for a few years.

Why don't we see P6B works replicas about? I think it looks great. I think it had 4 x twin choke Webers? The twin side pipes must have sounded excellent.

Alex, I think there are other websites that have women & horses
