VIN NUMBER

Good evening,

I look for information about maching numbers for Mini MK 1 cooper.

My car is a 1965 and numbers are :

frame : KA2S4L737494
engine : 9FD - SA- H6394

How to know is engine number matching with frame ? (the mini has just 2 owners and seller warranted me that he never chenge the engine but I would be sure about the matching numbers)

How to know in wich factory the car was produced ? I read about a letter at the end like
A = Longbridge
M = Cowley

I don't find no A or M anywhere...

I just find a an other number plate above the water radiator with FE856706 and have no idea about what it mean !!!

Someone would help me ?

Both numbers tie in with LHD Morris Cooper st 1/4 of 1965 so all looks good but simon on here can tell you more, otherwise apply for a heritage cert.

If its a cooper it would have been built at Longbridge.
