Hey Scott,

If you find your 850 is too young for those let me know.

Someone has been selling repro ones on eBay recently. They look pretty good in the photos.

Here is the ebay link:-

Classic Mini MK1 1959 to 1962 Morris door kick black plastic inserts LH and RH.
As originally fitted to 1959 to 1962 Morris Minis only. (Austin Minis had the aluminium plates but these will fit)
The original Morris part numbers are:-
ADA3733 Protector, door pocket, RH
ADA3734 Protector, door pocket LH
These protectors are reproductions reverse engineered from undamaged originals for a classic Morris rebuild. I had a few spares made and these are left over. They are slightly thicker plastic than the originals and are thus more resistant to kick damage. Also they are slightly ‘over sized’ around the edges to allow trimming to suit your particular door pocket mouldings that can vary a bit (items ADA3735 and ADA3736). Holes will need to be cut in the correct places for the door check strap screws.
See photo of a RH Protector fitted to my own rather battered 1960 Morris Mini.

Might be worth asking if he can have another batch made if the demand is there?
