Re: Unipower Restoration
If you ask Keith Hamer kindly he may be able to build you a new one.
I visited him some years ago by which time he'd welded a complete new frame for that little light blue monster of his. The body was to become the next part.
Not sure if he got any further since though!

Ooh Ted, that is such a wonderful car. In fact it is the very last Unipower built...

Re: Unipower Restoration
Thanks for the link, worth looking at http://www.scholar-racing96.com site. Interesting work just up the road from me, didn't know they existed but do remember the DRK's being built in Ellesmere Port.

The rear lights on the Unipower are from the Vauxhall HA Viva.
Here's a couple of shots of the one that was on the lawn at Goodwood in 2009

Re: Unipower Restoration
More than the design, I think the construction was way superior to most glassfibre Mini sportscars. They were made by Specialised Moldings who made bodies for McLaren, Chevron, Ferrari , Lotus F1, GT40's etc so a very high quality moulding which were very strong and gave great panel gaps etc. The widened race cars weren't extended versions but entirely seperate moulds.
