HI
Do you have the Monte Carlo type with silver strips visible on the screen - If so the outer 2 wires are the live feed and the central wire is the earth
Now it depends if you want the whole screen to work or the left side / right side / both sides - this is where it gets a little complex

Hi
As Paul has inferred it all depends on the switch! Have a look here >> http://mk1-performance-conversions.co.u ... heated.pdf
This may be of assistance this diagram is not for the works switch!! If you understand electric diagrams on the works cars the switch ( P13-1-7530 A) varies the earth and power connections on the screen. let us know what switch you are using and we may be able to help.
Paul (Pad 4) Does this Stanton switch (that seems prevalent on E-bay) switch the screen correctly, 1/4 Power, Full power, Drivers side only

You should be able to work it out off the wiring diagram on the main site! "White & Black Lucas" If this is the illuminated switch that is what Lucas supplied with their screens, wire through a relay as diagram, tape up the CENTRE WIRE! Power in one side, Earth the other. You will have 1/4 power should pull approximately 3 Amps. If you feed power to both sides and earth the centre wire the screen will pull approximately 10 Amps. Use wire sizes as stated on wiring diagram. R=V/I

PLEASE NOTE THESE POWER FIGURES WERE TAKEN OF A TRIPLEX WINDSCREEN OTHER MAKES OR EVEN NEWER WINDSCREENS MAY DRAW MORE CURRENT

But you probably only need 10 Amps for short periods (thats a lot of current!). That is why they used the timer or TOK
