Wasn't the best ad to be honest, very poor pictures but looked a nice original period tuned Mk1.

Doubt you'd fit in that Jonny ! They made those in several colours, I've seen blue and green before but they're very rare. I came across one at an auto jumble at Tatton and restored it for my lad (quite a number of years ago). I thought at the time it was Tri-ang but actually they were made by Leeway. They would have had a crossed Union Jack and checkered flag on the bonnet Les Leston style and I'm sure something on the roof, a roof light or rally plaque but I've never seen a complete one to know. Decent ones go for between £150-£300 usually.

This went for a good price. Shows what you can do if you present an item well.

Did you get it? It went for around £360 but you don't see them that often, cheaper than a J40 though !prof peach wrote:Got me eye on that pedal car!! (don't tell the wife!)

Never ceases to amaze me how many rotting early Minis are constantly unearthed. There's certainly doesn't seem to be a shortage of project about !JC T ONE wrote:Not a wtf (yet ??) but its a Fleabay thing, so I thought I post it here =

Re: Proper barnfind
Aye, took a call from a customer today saying he'd found an 'old Cooper S', been laid up in a garage for 15 years and did I want to go see it. The owner is in his 70's, moving house and needs it gone. I'm not holding my breath, but you never know.Pete wrote:Never ceases to amaze me how many rotting early Minis are constantly unearthed.
