Barn(yard) find

Post by gpmini »

Found in a field recently. The traveller is Rhodesian built and fitted with a 1071 engine. Interestingly, I know of a 1963 Traveller that was a Rhodesian factory assembled 1071 for one of the dealers (his personal car).

The panelvan and bakkie both look restorable too, although I suspect the floors may be shot.

Looks like it's got a lot of potential. I love the idea of a Cooper spec wagon.

Woaw, that was a really nice collection 8-)

Going by the looks of the front wheel, on the Estate, it also has S brakes .

That's correct. Think I'll do a Wayne Carrini - remove the plugs, squirt of miracle juice and start her up. Well, thats the plan. Last licensed in 2002, so has been standing for a while.

A lot of interesting stuff in that field by the looks of it, grown up's playground!

Yep, a South African Mk3. Would make a nice base for a beach car

I know this is not the forum for ratrods but I was wondering if anyone has a car that they drive regularly, is mechanically perfect but that has a very weathered look? if so, please post pics.
