Curing Baby's Teething Troubles - Practical Motorist 1961

Post by mab01uk »

"The Mini-Minors and Austin Sevens have proved very successful, and although it is rather early in their lives to start thinking about complete over-hauls, there is one fault which developed on some of the earlier models. There was a tendency for a slight oil leak from one of the rear engine oil seals, into the clutch housing, causing clutch slip. A modified seal is now available."

Brilliant! I love those period articles and adverts. I have a couple of magazines like that in my colllection.

And that looks like a decent competition - a Mini (de-luxe, OOOoooo!!!!) and 5 years petrol, insurance, tax etc! :o 8-)
