I promise you, this stuff is VERY unhealthy so yes very good.JanWulf wrote:

The unhealthier it smells, the better it usually is
In all the 34 years I have been doing cars, NOTHING comes close to this stuff.
We had to open all doors & windows, it smelled like acid.
The guy who supplied it, said that its the strongest epoxy avalible.
So I expect my wheel arches to last a lifetime
This is why I recommended it to Ed, as it will fix the Minus very well.

Re: Project Lunchbox.... The Minus
thanks for all the comments guys... ive been feeling a little off with the whole thing to be honest...
i think what i need to do is take off all the arches and make some more, i believe i have mounted them too low as the arch in the body is very big, and ive mounted the ones i made on the edge, so the car itself is actually quite high, but the arches are making it lower... if you get me!??
this picture shows what im babbling on about!!
you can see the special arches it used to have are mounted along the line of the body arch... i out mine with the top edge of the arch along the body arch line...
anyway, ive probably really confused everyone! ha!
also, the kerobes seats i wasnt too happy with, possibly for sale... and i need a new exhaust, straight through RC40 is way too loud for me...

I know what you mean regarding the arches, and yes, both edges have to be same hight.
I have a RC40 on my road Mini, but its a twinbox, that is fitted in the standard position, dont make much noise.
I did have a singlebox on before, and it made a lot of "boyish" racer sounds
Keep up the good work

so, there are a few things im not too happy with...
so lets start sorting them out!
bought this off ebay:
self adhesive sound insualting felt, OE on landrovers, toyotas and Nissans apparently... a nice 12m roll! ha! its gonna get stuck everywhere! i want this mini to be nice and comfortable!
next up, the exhaust... as much as i love the RC40, its very loud, especially when you have no soundproofing... lol! i decided i wanted a twinbox system, so i bought this today:
full maniflow system, mmmmm!
ill get some pics when its all fitted!
all for now folks!
