I've got something pretty similar on the back of one of mine already !
Can't say I've ever seen one before in the flesh !

being a very early sixties child
we had a couple in the East Dorset area way back, one Fiesta Yellow the other OEW, I always thought they looked a bit crap compared to our Riley Elf

That is a cracking find! A real rarity. I suspect that although they were pretty widely advertised in the day there were few sold. This one certainly looks like it has never been fitted doesn't it.
It would indeed be great to see it on a car, I'm not holding my breath though.

Just don't get a puncture, the process of trying to get the spare out of the boot would innevitably be followed by weeks 'in traction'.

Stu,
I haven't gone mad, I wouldn't put it on one of my cars under any circumstances, BUT I would like to see it on someone else's car as it is an unusual original 60's accessory. Yup, its an ugly one, but rare & unusual. I always like to see these sort of things fitted to someone else's car

You've missed the point, noone wants it for themselves, but we'd all love to see it on someone elses car.

Clever. An Elf with that on would be even more utterly hideous. Love to see it though...
