FPC 633B Mk1 Cooper?

Post by mab01uk »

Does anyone know what happened to this 1964 Mk1 Morris Cooper FPC 633B (Tweed Grey/white roof)...........I helped my late neighbour sell it via the MCR magazine in 2003 but it is still not on the road (unlicensed) according to the DVLA website. He sold it for about £650 if I remember right and of course I now wished I had bought it myself but interested to know if its undergoing restoration?
I posted pictures on the MCR forum a while back:

Hi I have got the mini mk1 that this is about and I live in cheshire. The shell has had a full restore and is now in primer. Hopefully the car will be finished in the near future. If you post your email address i will send you some pics if you want.
Thanks Will

Hi Will,
Welcome and at last I'm very glad to know the Cooper survives and is in good hands undergoing restoration.......did you buy it direct from my late neighbour in 2003 or has it passed through other owners since?
Some more pictures I took here of it when we pulled it out of his garage for the MCR magazine for the sale advert. It had been in the back of his garage for several years hidden behind a temporary stud wall, my neighbour was a builder and I think he took it in part payment for a job many years earlier. As said I later wished I had snapped it up for myself. :D

I have also emailed you the photos and would love to see your recent restoration photos so far.

The elf sidelights were also fitted in the 60ies = the Cooper S Estate had these.
