Well done again JW, just goes to show that ponies don't always mean prizes when you've got a well piloted tiddler (might want to rephrase that   ).

off to east anglia this weekend for the next round, the east anglian classic :D , navigator is matt fowle for this one, done it together in 2011 and managed a 5th o/a, 3 top champ crews are using this as a dropper so a decent result should see us leading the championship, will be trying for a clean, neat, solid rally :D

well, another round completed, and what a day ! long story short, leading at lunch, pulled a further 10 seconds out in afternoon, 1 conrol left and ran out of fuel    , arghhhh, managed to get some of a guy passing and re-started, lost 7min 40 sec, BUT, finished in 23rd 0/a which gave me 26 champ points which leaves us leading it by 10 points :D so, a definate win thrown away due to my error, but a great result for the championship, must also say my nav, matt, was superb on the maps and tables and took my b###ox up with the fuel very well , he is not in the championship and had travelled from brighton just to have a crack at a win, top bloke .

you can all start taking the p##s now

hello, not been on for a while, the rallying and the "62 have been taking all my time, anyhow, still leading the championship by a slender margin, out in north wales this sat [7th] on the vale of clywdd, one certain Dermot Carnegie is car 1 [ex European rallyctoss multi champion] we are at car 3  , the 998 is surrounded by large capacity motors and even looks small on the entry list  ," smoke grey" is at car 14 so we will both be having a go for the mk1 perf forum :D

still leading by 4 points from current champion, 3 rounds left and need good points, 11 rounds, 7 to count it gets very complex with the dropped scores, if you start a rally but don't finish you still get 2 points which you can drop, matt ,who is 3rd, has a 2 score as opposed to my worst of 26, so he is actually 24 up on me ! I need some good luck if I am going to win it, I reckon a top 3 o/a is on the cards might scrape runner up :)
