I'd hazzard a guess it's a pre Goodwood shakedown in Andrew Ruhan's App K car that he's sharing at the Revival. Hoy started racing in Radicals this year I think.

I see they've also put the Yanks in with the Supertourers, so just the Cortinas and Imps to think about.

Hopefully Jimmy Fuller (No.33) may have something to say about that. (Seen below setting the track record at North Dakota, British Guiana, nearly 41 years ago)

Jimmy Fuller always keeps the Cortinas honest, here he is at the recent Croft Nostalgia event in Saturday Practice.

Following the death of Mike Tyrrell in May, Jimmy is now the only surviving crew member of car No.81 on the 1970 World Cup Rally.

Not a good day for Sir Chris then.
Split rad given as reason for aborted practice. Early bath in race due to consequent damage to engine?

Those Cortinas have too much grunt. Tyre/handling problems for JF Alfa (probable last race of season, so not worth throwing new tyres at it).

End of race, cars returning to paddock:

What was it with Minis and Alfas at the Gold Cup.

Sir Chris Hoy was almost collected by the yellow Giulia GT.

Note Sir Chris using his two wheeler experience to get round the chicane!

Thanks Rich.

Cortinas 41 and 44 had a race long battle for 2nd place after 79 got away in the lead after a couple of laps. The Brittens Chicane is worth the walk at Oulton and makes a change from Knickerbrook.
