We can all rest assured that with Pete finding the car ( though I suspect he will have known where and what is was for a number of years) and Mark restoring it, it will be a fantastic car that we would all give an organ to have found / own

One of those colours is correct. The roof is indeed white. No points for that though !Etienne B. wrote:Mmmmh, Pete,Surf 1275 wrote: There'a a clue, it's not red and white and it hasn't been pulled out of a drawer.

Chris Pilling has unfortunately guessed it by PM-ing me, I say unfortunately cos I suspect he got inside help and had about thirty wrong guesses ! He has won the prize though, congratulations, and to make matters worse has decided to play sadistic mind games on the rest of you by not spilling !

And if it was that car, i could have sold it to Mark direct and saved him 2 loads of commission!

Do you honestly think a Yorkshireman would shell out mega bucks on Seller's Radford ?

Mark, the photo of my MB is an interesting one. The little waves in the front wake were formed by the non directional tyre lugs and that is exactly why the photo was taken! It remains one of my favorite shots of my jeeps in action.
