MK2 bootlid

Any idea of the change point between these 2 'MK2' bootlids?

What are the holes for?

Top one (with the 3 holes) = these are for the MK III number plate light screws.

There was a period, where the BMC/BL did some mixup with inner & outer boot lid skin & frames.
