Hello all
I have just acquired another (!) mini -this time a 1961 Austin Seven cabriolet conversion - done sometime in the early 60's in the UK (I think on the South coast somewhere)
I am trying to find any leads regarding the history of this vehicle.
Anybody in the group heard of/seen this car? It left the UK in 1987 to new owners in Seattle and now is with me, near Detroit.
There is rumored to be a tie-in with either John Cooper or his son, Mike, but that needs to be verified
Any links, ideas, advice would be appreciated!!
thanks
Paul

Brian
you did? Any info you need from me to confirm?
I know it had some body work done in Worthing - I think door skins and some welding - I think at Motor Bodyworks (or something like that)
This would be a great 1st step into the history
cheers
