Morris Mini MK2 Bonnet Badge

HI All,
Am wondering does anybody have a Good Clear example/picture of a Morris Mini Mk2 Bonnet Badge? Is the Ring Lining and Shield around the Ox Silver or gold? I know its Single ring compared to the Oxford which has 3 ring of gold. There are many examples of this badge with Silver ring but there is one with single Gold Ring everything is exactly the same.. so I am confused.. looking for manufacturing specs. Dont want to buy a badge with wrong colour..

That is a Mk 2 Mini bonnet badge - the part number is correct. The gold must be from a reflection as it should be silver.

I confirmed wit the owner it is gold. He too is confused but swears it original part no NOS and says the possibility that later model the gold is not pronounced .

If you can get one, get it. They are very rare now and that one is much better than the Oxford or 1100 ones which are a much more yellow gold.

You badge is still displayed on internet searches , I have shared this picture out many times in my quest to get one.. Lucky you. Missed few bids on ebay already as it went too expensive or out of luck in bidding. SOmeone is promising me one now, I hope I get it for a decent price.

Well I dont have a Shiny new car yet but would like to get there someday but I am not prepared to contribute to someones retirement funds as you put it.. I did see a couple of decent one posted before I began my quest so I will wait and see my luck.

Thanks for the offer on the badge, looks like I need to replaint it completely. I decided to wait a bit and see if anything else comes up.. I missed a Fairly decent one with no scratches the last time due to Bidding timing. hard to stay awake in Asia when bidding for stuff in the UK.. especially on weekends..
