The lense is made of plastic and are threaded inside.
What car does it belong to ??
Size is about 3 inches
There are no name or numbers visible

There standard lucas light from the fifties/sixties, lots of cars had 'em fitted. Available with all types of lenses, clear, red and orange.

Please take notice that these lenses have internal THREADS and must be screwed to the base, and doesn't use separate screws !!

There is a lot of "look-a-likes", but !'m still searching for the exact lamp. It was used on a 1962 Opel Pick Up, a very rare car today. Regular production Opel P2 used another lamp assy. By the way - did UK cars use that kind of bulb in the sixties ??

My guess is that those lights were made in South Africa where the cars were manufactured.
Probably custom made specially for this - there is four on each car - would make the "order" to 10 - 12 000 pcs !!!
Some cars were shipped to other countries as CKD's, to be assembled there.
It's a real "hard to find" part !!
