Just a quick note to say that after his rant earlier this week, XVL24 has asked that I cancel his membership & delete all his previous posts.
I have therefore done as he asked.
I am sorry to have lost a member, but it was 100% his choice.

There aren't actually that many posts on here about BMW MINI's, if I post anything about them it is normally in General Chat and normally has some direct relevance or connection to classic Mini's now or in their past history.foxy52 wrote:...as a fan of anything mk1,2 and 3 cooper and s ...I don't either !!!... but then I scroll past anything BMW.. its not that hard to do as u say...foxy52mk1coopers wrote:I better get my coat too then after all the flack from Beaulieu, if you don't want to read about BMW MINIS then just scroll past it, its not that hard to do
eg. The recent MINI Tour of all the old Mini Factory sites.
So don't scroll past them all foxy some of the news snippets may be useful or interesting......anyway I know you read some of them because you have asked a few questions within the MCR MINI forum section before now!
Also if 'you don't get it' as said in one of your previous posts about MINI's.....then take a MINI for a test drive for a few days, that usually works and is why they sell so many of them.
(PS. Foxy please don't take offence.....this is all mean't in good humour as always I like reading your posts and don't want you leaving!)
As already mentioned the MCR forum has a dedicated MINI section in its forum (as you would expect when they actively invite MINI owners to join the MCR club and pay an annual subscription).....if I post anything that is only likely to be of interest to New MINI owners thats where it goes (or on MINI2/TotalMINI.com).
Sad that XVL 24 has gone unnecessarily, especially over a general post reporting on the Brands Hatch Mini Festival which was a great example of an event where everyone involved in both the Mini and MINI, whether enthusiasts, traders, competitors or spectators all seemed to be having a good time together. Also judging by the numbers of MINI's on the Southbank Mini/MINI parking area, in the public car parks and the various activities inside the circuit on both days (including Russ Swift show and Minisport Rally Demos), it would cause a significant drop in Brands Hatch gate revenue if they did not include the MINI's and perhaps make the event uneconomic to run.

It's a shame to loose a member over a Bini!
I kind of understand what he was getting at.
I like Binis but I dont really what to see or read about them on a Mk1 forum, same as I like Ferraris but dont what to see or hear them at a Mini festival!
