Yes its a alloy sandwich plate, that fits inside the lip, on the JanSpeed rocker cover.

It will have 4 holes drilled at the front, and pipes fitted.

Didnt want to drill & solder on the original rocker cover.

This is what the drawing ended up looking like (the small round piece, that holds the 3 pipes) =

So any guesses to where this goes ?

Ha ha, yes you know how the system is designed ;)

This is actually a little bit like connecting a dish washer

Well better tell what it is, as I dont want it "probing" my rear side :o

This is my new oil dip stick .

2 short pipes for the returning oil from the pump, and 1 long.
The long pipe is for the SMITHS oil check that has been "nesting" in a corner of the dash for 28 years.
It was disconnected, when JanSpeed built the car, as the SMITHS dip stick pipe for the gauge, dont fit into an A plus block,
= it was made for old 60ies engine types.

The pump will be controlled by a micro swith, on the throttle linkage,
so it only runs, when the car is idling (most vacumm = drowning the valves) .

Did a test run this eveing, so far so good = it keeps the oil level well below the original return channels, in the head.

Well you were right Steve 8-)

Here is a video, to show how its fitted (tempoary setup) Later on will I make a tube,
that connects the 4 pipes, right where they come out, of the sandwich plate, and then make one center outlet, to the pump.
