Can anyone identify this mystery Manifold?

Its obviously an Alexander item, but can anyone suggest what it was made for, cos I'm stumped.

It is a bit of a mystery isn't it.

I thought pre crossflow Ford, but it doesn't look quite right for that.

I was thinking side valve Ford.

Sorry, that's what I meant, side valve, not pre cross flow.
