Here is my old mate! I first built this after my trusty old clubman became so rusty! So rebuilt into a hawk sprint shell

Just got my wheels back from the powder coaters ! Going to start on the rebuild now .its not quite a Mk 1 mini ! But you guys may like it!

They are not particularly light weight but they are lighter than a std mini! They are good quality shells and are fitted with a integral cage for rollover and seat belts .

In bare metal I'd say they are lighter that looks smart, I'm intrigued by the doors! Are they converted to internal hinge? Not seen that before! Any more photos? Or is it a later shell and cut at the bottom of the door to follow the A panel?

Sorry I'm a complete numb nut.. I didn't read your txt minisprint.. I saw your name and the link and put 2 & 2 together and got 5! Yes they will be lighter lol and now it explains the doors if it's a hawk! Very nice!

The doors are internal hinge mk3 but rounded a panel! The complete shell boot bonnet and doors are fibreglass!,
