Re: Close your eyes....
That is great.
In the old days, people used to bore engines to 1550, fit turbos, rollcages, do shorties, fit horrid 14" wheels or whatever. These days, it's about stripping all of that lot off and making another trailer queen out of NOS bits on ebay.
It's more in the spirit of minis than a lot of things these days. I miss the old days of minis. Tasteless and all.

Seeing the Clubman Estate makes you realise how clever and well proportioned the original Minisprint was, taking height out of the body sides as well as the pillars and creating a car which looked "right"

Dont like the clubby est, looks well out proportion wise.
Dont mind the the van at all better than the obligatory fiat-cinquecento that is often seen towed behind this type of motor home. Though i would have colour matched it to the motor home lol

The Wellers are awfull, too.
They could have done a better job wit the van side panel.

That must look hilarious when they reverse out on a camp site. I think its great if you take it for what it is.
That said I would fell a right nob driving round some picturesque French village in it

Agreed the wheels and colour let it down, if it was a different colour and had different wheels it would look much improved lolronie wrote:The Wellers are awfull, too.

Re: Close your eyes....
i agree with in the shed, a nice change to see something "odd" with a bit of work to the rear valence, side panels , set of steels and colour change that would look totally brill instead of just brill, fair play to the man
