A lesson in how not to store a Mini, those tarps just seem to increase the rate of rot. (no offence Rich  )

Yes they do, its gets like a Green house under neath, and no way for the humidety to escape

Its the worst way to store a car, the tarpaulin should have been UNDER the car, so it didnt get the humidety from the ground.

After a few years now I got back to finishing AKY and put the coachbuilt cars to one side for a bit, today she went to her first event.

Thanks for the nice comments lads, I’m going to put her on 4.5 S wheels instead of the rosepetals as everywhere you turn now you are surrounded by them! It’s driving lovely and has settled a little so it needs to be raised slightly. The plan is to use it on the MCR’s minis to Ireland rally which I’m doing with my 13 year old son which should be good crack if it’s anything like the last one.

Weller 8 spokes.

That'll look sweet with Cosmics though.

But any non arched Mk 1 Mini still "looks" better on rosepetals, If you like that period racer look, transformed mine :D (my view) , but yes second choice would be the S wheels ... on an "S" 8-)

Dave Gilbert got them done in the early 70's with original vinyl and never used them! They are very comfortable James.
