interior mirror - identification

Post by skeebs »

Took a punt and bought this mirror from an auto jumbler for £2.
It has a crackle black finish and is made by Wingard.
The bracket holding the glass is slightly different to the Mini and unfortunately the stem is missing but can anyone identify it?

Thanks jw, that's interesting. Do you know wether it is original to the car?
I would be interested in the stem as I think it would work with this mirror.
How much would you like for it?

good morning
i've had the morgan since 1975. previous to my ownership it was a race car and in the photos from 1958 you can clearly see the same mirror.
morgans use a 2 screw mount but the early 3 screw mini mount fits the mirror bracket .
as far as cost, make me a reasonable offer and its yours. jw
