Just found this in a clear out. Thought it was long since lost.

It looks like it was a well designed and made linkage, the purpose of which I presume was to give a more progressive throttle opening?
Anyway, it obviously fouled the exhaust at some point, resulting in :

Back in the 80's & 90's Chrylser used a similar cam on their cars except the first bit of it was quite aggressive. You barely had to touch the throttle pedal to get the car to leap away from a stop light. Of course, mashing the pedal to the floor would hardly gain you any more accelleration.
