Paul Townley (towners)

Post by coop12g295 »

It is with a very heavy heart I am posting this. I was only with Paul Monday morning laughing joking and collecting some parts only to find out late last night that Paul had died Tue morning despite paramedics trying to save him for an hour.
I know many of you here either knew or had dealt with him, I have like you lost a true loyal friend. I will miss you Towners and my thoughts are with your parents wife and children.
Rest in peace buddy

Anymore news and I'll update

That's a big shock. I met pual at bingley hall in 2012 and was a great bloke to talk to, very down to earth, and from they way he was on here, he would help anyone

Very sad and feel for his family. Way too young for a great bloke to pass

RIP.

Shocked. !!!

What very sad news indeed.
I know I am not a very active member of this forum but have enjoyed Towners' comments and observations greatly.
My kind thought and wishes are with those he left behind.

Very Best Regards, Garry.

I was lucky enough to meet Paul at various Mini shows as a result of this forum. He was unfailingly enthusiastic and great fun to be around. My thoughts are with his wife and family. God bless you Paul. Mark

Terrible news. Another enthusiastic member of the mini community has left the building too soon.

I do hope the family is shown some respect before the magpies gather!

I'm in shock! I met Paul last year and bought some parts off of him for my MK1 racer project. I have a very nice steering wheel, set of reverse rims and a cracking Oselli rocker cover!

I also fell in love with a mk1 rally mini he had and spoke with him many times about it, but could not fetch the money together.

He was far too young! RIP Towners - you were a proper mini enthusiast!

Yes he was far too young. Puts all your own trivial problems into perspective when something like this happens, what a shocker. Very sad news indeed.

Oh my word I cannot believe this news! My dealings with him were nothing but pleasant and he was always very helpful and enthusiastic. Well, a Speedwell tacho pod, Lucas spot light pull switch, NOS stadium mirror on my car and on top of that a very nice free BMC genuine service parts t-shirt, will always remind me of the nice mini nut on the other side of the email.

My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. I hope they see the comments left here by the mini community

I never met Paul.
Sadness is always the case in my mind. Dealt with him many times and seemed like a genuine honest man.
Very sorry for his passing and best wishes to his family and I understood him to be a gent and young man.
