This is the prototype long wheel base Mini Moke, date of build 5th 59. It has done 6000 miles since new complete with original canvas and seat bases. Everything on the Moke is original from new, except for the the starter motor. Its got the 1 piece surrond on the radiator, magnesium clutch housing and gearbox, original Moke sump guard and everything that you can see in the photos are original. I stripped the paint of it about 10 years ago or more and it has been dry stored since, before I had it it was stored away for many of years in good storage. It was used by a film crew in about 1970-71, it's probably one of the most complete ones that you will see. The body of it is excellent except for a few minor repairs that are needed on the body. I did loose a bit of interest in it years ago, I am undecided whether I am going to keep it or sell it at the moment. It has the military reg number and it also has the civilian reg number which was put on it in 1969. It's got some fantastic history behind it.
