lol - sweet forklift. It never looked like that when it left the factory, that's for sure.
Love seeing beyond-the-norm classics being restored.

There is a famous photo of Jim Clark driving a similar truck, with Colin Chapman standing on the raised forks, giving the photographer the 'thumbs up'

Ah, but Lansing Bagnell had no real racing link, unlike CC.

I used to do design prototyping work for Lansing

It was rather thoughtless of BMC Comps Dept to use a fork lift without racing heritage! :lol:

I wanted the lansing one as shown with the mini on it but we needed to have a modicum of
safety to actually use the thing - just need to make a jig now to be able to lift the mini up

shame its not petrol driven - nice set of H4s would look the part
