In awe! How do people turn a gaping great hole where the floor used to be and then some and still manage to create a car out of seemingly thin air????
I notice on your engine build the blue anodised gallery plugs. Would you mind sending a link where they came from as its my next job. Cheers. Mark

As Mark already stated, that is some truly awesome metal work
Amazing what you can do with old metal
keep the pictures coming.

Thanks for the kind words lads. Mark we have the plugs a good few years so I don't know we're they came from. Drilled out the original plugs because the engine was in such bad shape just to make sure there was no surprises for me later, but surprisingly the oil gallery's were very clean. Better safe than sorry!

Tony painted the engine today. Going for green with a dash of red! No the red is just the reflection of the heat lamps baking the paint. I assume the original inner wing is there to help the Ali gearbox from getting to hot.

This is one of those threads, where one enjoys clicking on page 1, and then go to page 4 or 5 to see the transformation
very very nice work .
it also strikes me how quickly people have changed opinion regarding "reshell" (still hate that word )
just before I got a computer (2008) there were a thread inhere or MCR about a White S that was found in a barn.
The barn had been flodded from time to time over the years, so the car was rusty, but very complete, and had factory recliners.
Most of the people who responded to that thread said reshell
Here we are 5 years later, and people are now bringing cars back from the edge of their grave, which are in much worse state, they dont even give reshell a thought .
All I can say is well done guys

What a fantastic restoration. This is a car to be very proud of, I can't wait to see it finished.
As previously said, really impressive metal work, taking rust and fresh air and making it look factory fresh mini shape again is a fantastic skill.
